Summer is finally here! SM Supermalls is inviting all parents to make the summer break more fun and exciting for kids and the whole family with exciting activities and workshops in 68 SM malls across the country!

During summer, we at SM are reminded of the special opportunity that we have --- the chance to be able to draw smiles on every child's face and create unforgettable moments for families to cherish forever. We are blessed to have our dear shoppers as part of our one big happy SM family," said SM Supermalls Senior Vice President for Marketing Jonjon San Agustin during the recent 'Let's Play Now At SM' summer kick-off event at SM City San Lazaro.


Our 'Let's Play Now At SM' campaign that primarily aims to give families, most especially our kids a new kind of shopping experience where we can enjoy various fun digital games and be rewarded with exciting instant prizes, shopping discounts and lots of freebies," shared San Agustin.




Summer fun begins at SM with Summer Takeover workshops so kids can have fun, learn, and make friends this season! Happening until June 3, the interactive workshops include artistic fun workshops on arts and crafts, painting, drawing, and fashion design lessons; entertainment workshops with modeling, music, dancing and theater acting classes; explorers workshops which offer culinary, visual reality and interactive games, and photography; and sports workshops on basketball, taekwondo or martial arts, archery, and golf.

Mallgoers can also relax at SM’s Summer Chillin’ on weekends of April and May. Featuring the country’s well-loved OPM bands and artists, the musical performances are set to treat customers with delightful summer experiences – complete with live art and a food bazaar!

There is also the Summer Fun Run every weekends of April and May where customers can get active and spend time with loved ones.

Another must-try experience is Summertacular Emoji Balloons Photowall, powered by Vivo, until May 31, where customers snap and show off their summer feels at SM!

The Christmas Holiday is fast approaching and it is a perfect time for families to get their photos taken. There are many options to choose from and we got ours from Great Image Studios.  We went to Beloved Studios in Megamall which is also a sub-company of Great Images. We were accommodated by their manager, A and Joan, the photographer. They made us feel at ease and were very patient with giving us instructions and they especially loved working with Baby G. I can definitely say they are experienced with handling little kids with their energetic process of capturing memorable shots. Their photoshoot session starts as low as 350php. Great deal, right? SM SuperMoms: Mom and Me Digital Conference - What's In Store on #NationalSuperMomsDay2018 at SM SUPERMALLS

Mall of Asia Arena Complex, Pasay City on May 11 - A  digital media conference was held at Gringo's to launch the #SuperMom QR Code Hunting and the numerous deals, finds and activities that are happening on Mother's day weekend or SM calls it as #NationalSuperMomsDay2018. The conference was graced with celebrity supermoms like Chynna Ortaleza-Cipriano, Princess Velasco and Sandy De Leon. Bb. Pilipinas-International 2017, Mariel De Leon was also part of the celebrity list as she graced the cover of SM's ShopMag with her mother, Sandy in its Mothers' Day theme.  A brief description of the #SuperMoms campaign was launched in 2016 to pay tribute to mothers who are considered silent superheroes of the family. South Mommies & Babies Gather for Great Cloth Diaper Change - SPiN event

The Great Cloth Diaper Change (GCDC) by South PiNanays (SPiN) was held at Festival Mall, Alabang last April 23, 2016. It was a success with 69 mommy and baby pairs who simultaneously changed baby diapers to enter the Guinness World Record for the ‘most cloth diapers changed’ at one time. This event was done in partnership with Modern Cloth Nappying Pinays (MCNP), Breastfeeding Pinays, Mommy Talk Philippines, and Newlyweds@Work. The GCDC is an annual worldwide event created by the Real Diaper Association that aims to spread awareness about the benefits of cloth diapering, advocating cloth diapers as an environment-friendly choice for families.
