The Great Cloth Diaper Change (GCDC) by South PiNanays (SPiN) was held at Festival Mall, Alabang last April 23, 2016. It was a success with 69 mommy and baby pairs who simultaneously changed baby diapers to enter the Guinness World Record for the ‘most cloth diapers changed’ at one time. This event was done in partnership with Modern Cloth Nappying Pinays (MCNP), Breastfeeding Pinays, Mommy Talk Philippines, and Newlyweds@Work. The GCDC is an annual worldwide event created by the Real Diaper Association that aims to spread awareness about the benefits of cloth diapering, advocating cloth diapers as an environment-friendly choice for families. I actually regret finding about and being exposed to Cloth Diapering as Moms I know who practice say it's more practical and most importantly, environment friendly. Baby G’s first birthday party is coming soon and we are celebrating it a few days earlier from his actual birthday. We picked Jollibee as our party venue and we love their spaghetti and Chicken Joy. Part of the preps is some DIY party items which will be included there. The Jollibee package includes food, 30 balloons with sticks (which will only be placed on the table), host, game prizes, Jollibee mascot appearance and venue. We purchased some party hats for a minimal cost. I’d like to make the party a little bit more festive by sprucing it up with some decors. There will be different DIY projects so stay tuned!
